Teach me good judgment and knowledge for I believe in Your Commandments.

Its is good for me that I was humbled so that I may learn Your Statutes.

I know O Lord that Your judgments are right and that in Your faithfulness you have humbled me.

Your faithfulness endures to all generations, you have established the earth and it stands fast.

I am your servant give me understanding so that I may know Your decrees.

The unfolding of Your Words gives light, it imparts understanding to the simple. Psalm 119:66, 71, 75, 90, 125, 130

A Call To Praise and Obedience

Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord, cry out to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before Him with a song of praise, joyfully sing out our Psalms.

For the Lord is the Great God, the Great King over all gods, whose hand holds the depths of the earth, who owns the tops of the mountains. The sea and dry land belong to God, who made them, formed them by hand.

Enter, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord who made us. For He is our God, we are the people He shepherds, the sheep in His hands.

Oh, that today you would hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as at Meribah, as on the day of Massah in the desert. There your ancestors trusted Me, they tried Me though they had seen My works. Forty years I loathed that generation, I said:

“This people’s heart goes astray, they do not know My ways.”

Therefore I swore in my anger:

“They shall never enter rest.”  Psalm 95:1-11

If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. What profit is there for one to gain the whole world yet lose or forfeit  himself? Whoever is ashamed of Me and of My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of when He comes in His glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. Luke 9:23-26

For many…conduct themselves as enemies of the Cross. Their end is destruction…Their minds are occupied with earthly things.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through Him.

Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned but whoever does not believe has already been condemned because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God and this is the verdict, that the light came into the world but people preferred darkness to light because their works were evil.

For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light so that his works might not be exposed but whoever lives the truth comes to the light so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.
