(Daily Caller) The Obama administration has quickly converted the U.S. Supreme Ct’s Hobby Lobby decision into a campaign issue, calling on Congress to continue providing abortion-related drugs to Women who work for Catholic employers.
The chances of such a measure ever becoming law zero–the cynical opportunity to raise campaign contributions and attempt to make this a wedge issue going into the midterms–priceless but so very predictable for liberals that can’t come up with any new or original campaign ideas.

(CNA) On Monday, in a 5-4 vote the Supreme Court said that closely held corporations can not be required to provide contraception coverage to their employees which they determine to be objectionable based on the religious beliefs–definitely is a victory for Christian principles and that all five of these votes came entirely by Men speaks volumes about the (so called) ‘War on Women’ which our country is currently embroiled.
Yesterday’s decision reminds us that Women’s health–and by this I mean more than merely contraceptive coverage–is not just a Woman’s issue. Yesterday’s decision affects both Women and Men because procreation necessarily involves Women and Men and because conscience protection is not gender specific nor is it a partisan issue.
The Truth Is: We gave up mutual responsibility for procreation long ago when we praised the birth-control pill for giving Women a ‘new found freedom’ and power over their fertility, when we wildly accepted, nay, promoted sex outside of marriage, when we made abortion about ‘a Women’s right to choose’ we surrendered something quite difficult to get back–shared responsibility for what our bodies are made to do when we have sex namely, to create life.
Even though it takes two to make a baby, we have given Men the ability to opt out of parental responsibility if they choose. The forms of contraception covered by ObamaCare, all depend necessarily on the Woman’s faithful use of these devices not the Man’s. Male condoms are not covered by ObamaCare also not covered are methods that both beget appreciation for the wonder that is the female reproductive system and require mutual responsibility like natural family planning or other fertility awareness methods…

(Christianity Today) Three American medical providers were murdered today at ‘Cure Intl Hospital’ a Christian medical facility specializing in Pediatric & Women’s health by an Islamic Jihad Terrorist Thug.
Two of the dead medical providers according to FOX News were a father & son team, the third was an American that had been working in Afghanistan Kabul, for seven years.
On the 07 April, I wrote here that 75 year old Jesuit Dutch Priest Fr Van Der Lugt was beaten and martyred for Christ by Islamic Jihadist in Syria and on the 01 July, 2013 I wrote here that Catholic Priest Fr Francios Murad was beheaded together with his assistant by Islamic Thugs.
Once more (if there was any doubt to some Americans) today’s grisly murders reemphasizes that despite Obama’s claims that Islam embodies a religion of peace, fairness and tolerance and is ‘one of the worlds great religions’ it is anything but–instead it is an anti-Christian, anti-Jewish, misogynistic, terrorist ideology, that has no place in a civilized society.

(Amnesty Intl) Even by the standard of low expectations set for a trip described as ‘fence mending’ President Obama’s public silence on Saudi Arabia human rights violations spoke loudly today.
Saudi Arabia is targeting human rights defenders and subjecting them to unfair trials–two founders of a leading human rights organization are currently on a hunger strike following convictions related to their peaceful political work that led to long sentences.
Saudi security forces continue to abuse opponents and detainees with impunity. Torture is reported to be wide spread and systematic leading to unfair trials where key evidence is often collected through torture or the threat of torture.
Religious and ethnic groups face discrimination and sometimes even jail time for peacefully following their beliefs. For domestic workers, life in Saudi Arabia can be a nightmare where they have no legal recourse if abused and Women, Saudi law and practice continues to discriminate against them and offers little protection against domestic and other violence.

While Michelle Obama has positioned herself as an Intl Women’s leader, she could have done so much good if she had been willing to use her position to advance Women’s rights in a nation that tramples on them–previous First Ladies have used their position to speak out for human rights in this totalitarian regime.
