(FOX News) Fed up with what they say are unsafe and unsanitary working conditions, dozens of New York City LaGuardia airport/airline cabin cleaners walked off their jobs overnight.
The workers say they are not properly equipped to handle the hazardous materials they regularly come in contact with–including blood, feces and hypodermic needles.
Tweet“I have dealt with vomit, feces and a lot of chemicals without proper equipment,” Johanna Cruz from Queens told NY Daily News “They give us gloves but they may as well be paper because they rip so easily.”
