President Obama will address a joint session of Congress next Wednesday night to once again make another sales pitch to nationalize health care.
In 2003 addressing the AFL/CIO Obama said, “I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care system…”
Now 6 years later the Obama Administration claims the single payer option is not essential and Obama is willing to drop the public option which has angered his liberal base.
Sixty Members of the House Democrat-Socialists sent the White House a letter that they are firm in their positions and that any health care bill must contain the public option to move forward.
