In a newly published Rassmussan Poll conducted of 1,000 Americans, 43% said that Obama’s trip to Copenhagen was a bad idea, 36% said it was a good idea and 21% were unsure.
Some Republicans have criticized “The One” for flying off to make an Olympic Sales pitch while there are serious issues at home which requires his attention. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, R-GA criticized Obama Tuesday evening during an interview on FOX News with Greta VanSusteren saying, “…Faced with a deadline in Iran…9.7% unemployment—where is the President? He is in Copenhagen on behalf of Mayor Richard Daley trying to get the Olympics.”
