Michelle Obama was so proud of her vegetable garden that she shared this years harvest with students from Bancroft Elementary School on the south lawn of the White House, later sitting down with the kid’s and they dined on lettuce and snap peas, to focus attention on good eating habits, health and nutrition.
White House spokesman Katie McCormick-Lelyveld, announced that soil tests of the White House garden have been returned, testing positive for lead.
It may have been a good idea to take soil samples prior to planting a vegetable garden and inviting kid’s over to dine on the lead contaminated veggies?
