ObamaCare Wages War On Flexible Spending Accounts

ObamaCare wages war on middle class health care plans—Remember “Hoax & Chains” promising to Americans, that if we like our current health care plans that we could keep them?

Riiight…

During the Benefits Enrollment period, consumers decide if they want to create a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for themselves, how much one will want to have deducted from their paychecks to be put into their FSA

For example, should a consumer wish to contribute $1,000 pre-tax income, one may use those funds to cover health related expenses such as doctors visits, over-the-counter medications, bandages, etc–one must maintain their receipts to be reimbursed from their FSA—some companies will provide a debit card connected to the consumer’s FSA and funds are withdrawn automatically.

Should a consumer not use all of their FSA contributions by the end of the year, instead of rolling over to the next year, the government keeps all the unused money in the FSA

ObamaCare “New” Health Care Rules makes it more difficult for consumers to receive reimbursement or for health care costs or automatically by using an FSA Debit Card.

Should an FSA owner want to obtain an over-the-counter medication from the pharmacy and be reimbursed or automatically debited from their FSA—Consumers must first take time off work to obtain a prescription from a licensed health care provider, even if one only wants to take a aspirin for a headache—needing to likewise pay the health care provider for the unnecessary medical treatment.
