    Why Me?

    Why was I the one who did not live?

    You chose to take the life the Father did give.

    I wanted to join my family on earth;

    Grow up and be that special child from birth.

    The one created on God’s hand;

    He gave me this chance; did you understand?

    I could have shared God’s gifts He had given me;

    Shown you how special my life was to be.

    Where would we be now if He had not been born?

    Was my life not as precious as the one who wore thorns?
