Arkansas Dem Sen Mark Pryor, has accused Senate Candidate Rep Tom Cotton of Putting Americans at Risk for Ebola –Image: Robert Guest
(PolitiFact) Sen Mark Pryor (D-AR) in a desperate effort to keep his seat has alleged:
“Tom Cotton, voted against preparing America for pandemics like Ebola–Congressman Cotton voted to cut Billions from our nations medical disaster and emergency programs, he was the only Arkansas Congressman to vote this way…Cotton voted for massive tax cuts for billionaires, not protect our families health and safety.”
According to PolitiFact Pryor’s allegations are erroneous, citing the fact that while Rep Cotton did vote against an initial House bill, that Cotton voted for final passage of the “Pandemic and All Hazards Preparedness Reauthorization Act of 2013” which Pryor likewise supported in the Senate and the bill easily became law.
Desperate Democrats will say just about anything to get reelected.
