Not Every Political Disagreement Is Prejudiced

Kid's Playing Together

Have you ever noticed that children will play with other children just because they are kids. Children don’t see different races but just see another Kid that may become their next  newest friend.

It is Adults that create divisions between people and cultures, people are people. One afternoon while in my car listening to Dr. Laura Schlessinger she commented to a caller,”…that skin color is nothing more than pigmentation.”

Dr. Marguerite A. Wright wrote in 1998, “…children who have not been sensitized to race ascribe little importance to skin color.”

Racism and Bigotry is nothing but learned behavior, children become a mouthpiece of their parents, who instill prejudices into the young minds of their children. They should be ashamed of themselves.

During the 2008 Presidential Campaign, Barack Obama injected race in his campaign by accusing the GOP of being nothing more than simple minded racists saying, “…they’re going to make you afraid of me, he is young and inexperienced and he has got a funny name and did I mention he is black.”

Taking a page from President Obama’s play book, New York Democrat Governor David Paterson blames his political problems on race.

Having political disagreements with some politician does not make one prejudiced or intolerant. Politicians who play the race card such as Obama & Paterson, should be ashamed of themselves, for attempting to manipulate their targeted audience by accusing others of being racist for political gain.
