(WSJ) Flashback: Remember when Obama said at FEMA ahead of Hurricane Sandy:

“My message to the governors as well as the mayors, is anything they need we will be there and we’re going to cut through red tape, we’re not going to get bogged down with a lot of rules. We want to make sure that we are anticipating and leaning forward into making sure that we’ve got the best possible response to what is going to be a big and messy system.”

Subsequent to Obama’s Hurricane Sandy photo-ops and the departure of the media from devastated areas tens of thousands still are homeless now some 6 months later, the region is dealing with a slow and frustrating recovery. Insurance companies and the federal government have not made anticipated payments despite all of Obama’s assurances when visiting the area one month ahead of last years elections with cameras rolling.
