Pork Spending In Hurricane Sandy Relief BillCongressional Porkulus Spending –The Inquisitr

(HumanEvents) After initially rejecting the Senate’s $60+ Billion+ pork filled Hurricane Sandy relief bill passed in the last days of the 112th Congress, on Tuesday the House passed their own $50+ Billion pork filled Hurricane Sandy relief bill without cutting spending to pay for it, containing:

  • $500 Million for weather forecasting and to help create an ocean zoning plan;
  • $10 Million for FBI salaries;
  • $2 Billion for road construction across the country;
  • Funding for Head Start;
  • Funding for roof repairs at the Smithsonian Institute;
  • $150 Million for Fisheries
