China, Beijing Cigarette Butts pictured—Scientists say that they have discovered a way to utilize the most abundant trash that is discarded everyday to be recycled to protect steel pipes from rusting.

The remains of used cigarettes soaked in water can help guard against corrosion of steel pipes commonly used in the oil industry according to Jun Zhao, a Ph.D. student at Xi’an Jiaotong University, Shanghai

Press Accuracy Hits 20 Year Low

Distrust of the establishment media sends most Americans to the Internet to get most of their news and information according to a Zogby International Poll published earlier this year.

In a new Pew Research assessment of Americans, just 29% say that the establishment media generally get their facts straight while 63% say that news stories are often inaccurate. Similarly only 26% of Americans now say that news organizations are careful that their reporting is not politically biased.

ABC News George Stephanopoulos, witnessed a “pretty remarkable speech.”

NBC Chuck Todd, said that the President re-branded “himself as a centrist and a pragmatist.”

China Blocks ABC News Blogs

Chinese Internet Censors have now blocked ABC News Blogs but all hope is not los for “fair and balanced news” most of FOX News blogs can still be accessed.

On the 06 January, I wrote here that free speech is essential in the pursuit of learning, every idea or thought is not an avenue of incitement, censorship only results in the pursuit in finding cracks in the Great Firewall of China.
