Coca-Cola Not Ready to Stop Using Industrial Chemical in Food and Beverage Containers Harmful to Infants and Children

Coca-Cola’s top executives said last week, that it would be premature to stop using Bisphenol A (BPA) an industrial chemical, that has been present in many hard plastic bottles including metal based food and beverage cans since the 1960’s—the Food & Drug Administration shares the perspective of the Natl Toxicology Program, that recent studies provide reason for some concern that the potential effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children.

BPA has been banned in Canadian Baby Bottles according to USA Today likewise the City of Chicago, Suffolk County NY, Connecticut, Massachusetts have banned BPA from food containers, other states including California, New Mexico, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Vermont have pending legislation to ban the chemical additive.

FDA: Airline Food Fails To Meet Health Standards

At one time it was said, the most dangerous part of anyones trip is driving to the airport.

This may have all changed?

Food and Drug Administration: Food preparation at some of the nations largest air carriers are a recipe for disaster. Violations include roaches, mice, unsanitary conditions and no place for food service workers to wash their hands.

RINO John McCain: We Need More Not Less Government Regulation

Republican In Name Only (RINO) Arizona Sen. John McCain, wants the FDA with its dismal safety record to now regulate dietary supplements.

John McCain has introduced with one co-sponsor Byorn Dorgan, D-ND The Dietary Supplement Safety Act of 2010 that would repeal key provisions of the Dietary Supplement Health & Education Act to “more effectively dietary supplements that may pose safety risks unknown to consumers.”

McCain sounds like Democrat-Socialists Barack Obama who wants Americans to see themselves as victims for government to seize control of every aspect of ones life because we are just nothing more than simple minded, helpless wimps and don’t have enough common sense to think for ourselves.

Packaged Lettuce Dangers, What’s In Your Salad?

News tests by Consumer Reports have found high levels of bacteria in packaged leafy greens that could indicate unsanitary conditions.

Tests conducted by an outside lab found that 39% of the samples contained levels of Coliform bacteria considered higher than acceptable by industry consultants. Some 23% of the samples contained Enterococcus bacteria.

Consumer Reports said that these bacterias do not generally make people sick but they could signal inadequate sanitation.
