Obama Plays Gender Card To Woo Female Voters

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

Obama Receives T-Shirt from Students at University of Washington

Running out of time with just 12 days to go until the midterm elections, The White House is remaking President Obama this week, as he visits the west coast in his pathetic attempt to play the gender card and woo female voters.

Female voters once a reliable force for Democrats are roughly split this Fall between Republicans and Democrats running for Congress and Governor—Recent Gallup Polling, assuming a traditional turnout for midterm elections finds that Republicans are favored by likely female voters 49% to 46%

Today at a campaign stop in Seattle for Sen. Patty Murray, D-Washington, President Obama tells Women they’ve benefited from his policies.

Huh?

“Why Tea Party Women Lead the Charge–Women have simply had enough of being taxed and told whats good for us…Women control the household accounts and we know when spending is unsustainable threatening the very fabric of our families,” writes Tammy Bruce “…The Tea Party represents stakeholders in the American system, people who were never involved in politics or thought they had to be, yet realized that political corruption and incompetence threatened not only their families but the future of our nation itself…”

National Public Radio Disgraceful Firing of Juan Williams

Thursday, October 21st, 2010

National Public Radio (NPR) termination of Juan Williams subsequent to his Monday evening appearance on The O’Reilly Factor FOX News is nothing short of disgraceful, shameless and reprehensible.

NPR claims, “A functioning democracy depends on a free press…an informed citizenry.”

Riiight—just as long NPR contributors say what is politically correct.

“National Public Radio is a public institution that directly or indirectly exists because the taxpayers fund it and what do we get for this,” writes Sarah Palin “we get to witness Juan Williams being fired from NPR for merely speaking frankly about the very real threat this country faces from radical Islam.”

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB) in Fiscal Year 2008 received $393 Million Dollars in public money, during Fiscal Year 2009 NPR seen an increase in their appropriations, receiving $400 Million Dollars on the public trough. In Fiscal Year 2010 which ended on 30 September, CPB received $420 Million courtesy of the taxpayers and during the new Fiscal Year which began on 01 October, Congress appropriated $430 Million Dollars for CPB

While I have my share of disagreements with Juan Williams politically,  for NPR, a quasi federally funded news agency to censor the free speech rights of one of their contributors is sacrilegious and outrageous, to a nation founded on principles of unalienable rights, independence and liberty.

Democrats Running Away From Obama

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

The single most amazing thing in this years campaigns is that Dem’s are not defending Obama’s legislative accomplishments. —Dick Morris

Obama’s impact has been revolutionary, radically changing our health care system, betting our national solvency on stimulus programs, erasing the line between public and private sectors, yet there is an almost total lack of support for his programs on the stump.

Democratic campaigns consist almost entirely on personal attacks of their opponents—Dem’s are not embracing Obama’s Trillion Dollar Stimulus or the nationalization of GM and Chrysler.

Obama’s Hush-Hush Policy Summit With Bloggers & Journalists

Friday, October 15th, 2010

In what was supposed to be an “Off the Record” policy briefing between President Obama and Senior members of his administration with African American Bloggers and Journalists on Monday, didn’t stop a Blogger from writing about the event and posting a group photo of the participants.

The Obama Administration provided the Bloggers and Journalists with the ground rules: The first half of their briefing was to be on background the second half of their meeting was to be off the record entirely.

So much for that here is one post of the meeting courtesy of White House.org on Blogger
